Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Stephen Goodson Music (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and any agreements for performance at weddings or other events. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Services
We provide professional live guitar performance for weddings, private events, and related functions in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas, and surrounding areas.
2. Booking & Payment
Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
Deposits – A non-refundable deposit (typically 25–50% of the total fee) is required to secure your booking.
Balance – The remaining balance is due no later than [X days] before the event date (or on the day of the event if agreed in writing).
Accepted Payment Methods – Bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
Late Payments – May incur additional charges or result in cancellation of the booking.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Client Cancellations – Deposits are non-refundable. If cancellation occurs within [30] days of the event, the full balance may still be payable.
Performer Cancellations – In the rare event we must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will make reasonable efforts to find a suitable replacement or refund all payments made.
Force Majeure – Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions).
4. Event Requirements
Performance Space – The client must provide a safe, clean, and adequate space for performance.
Power Supply – If amplification is required, a reliable power source must be available.
Breaks – For events longer than 90 minutes, short breaks may be scheduled.
Meals & Refreshments – For performances over 3 hours, reasonable food and drink should be provided for the performer.
5. Client Responsibilities
Ensure the venue is booked, accessible, and prepared for live music.
Obtain all necessary permissions or licenses for live performance.
Inform us of any venue restrictions (e.g., noise limits) before booking.
6. Liability
We are not liable for any damages or losses except where required by law.
The client assumes responsibility for any damage caused to our equipment by guests, venue staff, or other third parties during the event.
7. Intellectual Property
All music arrangements, recordings, and promotional materials remain the property of Stephen Goodson Music and may not be copied, recorded, or reproduced without written consent.
8. Use of Photos & Videos
With your permission, we may take photographs or short video clips during your event for promotional purposes. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
9. Website Use
Content on our website is for informational purposes only.
You may not copy, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.
We may update the website or these Terms at any time without notice.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
